DELIVERING YUI-Lover Collaboration 4 CD TO YUI:

March 11th Tohoku Tsunami/Earthquake Disaster - Worry amongst the YUI-Lover Community:
After the package arrived on March 15th there were no mentions of our project. It was absolutely understandable with the horrible disaster in Japan which occurred on March 11th, that it was not an appropriate time to inquire the studio/staff about this. The YUI-Lover (YL) community was concerned for those caught in the disaster, and the safety of fellow YUI-Lover members, for YUI's staff members, the e.u.band, and YUI herself.

March 18th - Backy's Blog — YUI’s Status and Message for YUI-Lover.

Over the next few days, the YL community wanted to know about the safety and status' of YUI, the e.u.band members, and thestaff. Thankfully, staff and YUI posted their thoughts (YUI's Diary, Staff Diary, and we had heard everyone was safe with only a minor injury to e.u.band member, Maimai. We also left a blog post messages for e.u.band members where Backy responded back to us on his blog. Read the messages here


Lost package scenarios
Relieved, the YL members began to wonder if the Collaboration package was received properly. The YL community patiently waited for a future blog post that would mention our gift on blog sites from the staff, e.u. band members and YUI. However, it had been almost a month since we had sent the package and YUI's birthday had passed already.

Different scenarios of what could have gone wrong began to surface, including it being lost, destroyed, misplaced due to the earthquake, etc.. Other things that could have gone wrong included: address written wrong, arrived in the wrong address, receptionist threw it out, thrown out after mess from earthquake etc.

As the fears mounted, one of YUI-Lover's administrator member, Kikino, decided to contact Honey Bee Studio and messaged everyone's blog once again.


April 1st - Backy's Response & visits YUI-Lover.com
After leaving messages asking if the package was seen or not, Backy directly responds back with the following message

The truth is that I haven't received the CD yet...
Maybe it's because we haven't met with YUI's manager recently?
But I listened to it completely!
I downloaded it from YUI-Lover website (laughs)
Everybody was splendid!

The YL community was exhilarated that Backy-san was able to download and had visited YUI-Lover's website. The collaboration participants from YL were excited but also quite anxious over the whereabouts of the collaboration package. Many people had worked hard and put in a lot of their time and efforts into creating such a well-produced CD present. The YUI-Lover community continued to wait for a response.
