How YUI Lover came to be

On December 26, 2005, *Shine! saw AditZ on MSN. He messaged AditZ and asked him if he would like to start a YUI forum with him. AditZ was delighted by the idea. So they started creating the first ever YUI forum. They each discussed ideas on the forum name. AditZ came up with the name YUI-Lover. YUI-Lover, The 1st YUI Forum and Fansite was established. AditZ decided to use that name in purpose to make people easier to look for YUI forum in the google search engine (Try to type YUI + forum to googling it). The forum slowly generated itself. AditZ with the forum display and *Shine! with the forum coding and sections.

People slowly joined YUI-Lover as YUI got more popular. Some came by invitation, some came from see our advertisement, some found the site by googling. As the number of members grew, the Administrators thought that it was time for Moderators. The idea of Mods started on December 27th and recruiting started shortly afterwards. Ty_Sylicus and XMarksTheSpot! offered to moderate to help the administrators. XMarksTheSpot was made Moderator on January 6th and Ty_Sylicus was made Moderator on January 13th. Admins saw that they're the warmest guys and the hospitality team in the forum.

Soon after, the demand for YUI files grew and the Administrators were looking for a member who had them. viper92583 was found in another forum sharing a lot of YUI files. He also proposed himself to offer help in uploading media when he saw the forum was in need. AditZ and *Shine! had long knew him actively sharing YUI files in other forum. Pleased by his offer and determination, the Admins invited him to join YUI-Lover moderating team. He was made Mod on January 18th and later was asked to make sharing media rules. Thanks to his great effort, the sharing media section works smoothly.

Later, news on YUI's progress was also in demand and Administrators thought that news section is the most vital part of the forum. People joining is to get any related news and media. The Admins started looking for News-hunters to find and post information on what YUI was currently doing. blue cat joined YUI-Lover on January 13th after AditZ invited him to the forum. AditZ saw a great of love for YUI inside of blue cat. Admins found out that he knew Japanese and he posted news on YUI in other forums. Admins didn't need a long time to see that blue cat is the destined guy and is capable of bringing YUI news. He is also a mature guy which is needed as mod. blue cat was PMed to become YUI-Lover's first News-hunter Mod. He became one on January 15th. Later Admins saw Gin as possible next candidate. When AditZ was thinking to discuss it with the staff, Gin had already offering his help by PMing blue cat. Gin was made Mod to help find and post news. He became Mod on February 1st. And the two combination highly contributing to the forum and made YUI-Lover is one of the best source to gathering YUI news.

The forum ran smoothly with the newly added staff. swtazngal found that the Member Creation forum was unmoderated and offered to help us moderate it. She became Mod on June 15th of the Member Creations forum and also the first female Moderator of YUI-Lover.

Version 1 - (The Original Y<3r Logo concept) During this time, the site was Invision board Blue and White.

Version 2 - (The first officail Y<3r site banner, the banner was modeled after YUI's very popular single, LIFE!) Durring this time, the forum was Gray and Black.

Version 3 - (This site banner was modeled after YUI's single, TOKYO!) Durring this time, the forum became bright and colorful! The main color was white.

Version 4 - (This site banner was modeled for YUI's first alb, FROM YOU TO ME the words "YUI-Lover Forum & Fansite" was added) The forum was bright red giving off a rock-like theme.
