Yellow tagged CDs are singles or albums with a yellow sticker attached to them. They can only be purchased on auction websites such as e-bay. It is hard to tell the difference between a yellow tagged and an official copy, because they are almost the same.
There are three noticeable differences:
- A "not for sale" disclaimer in japanese.
- The yellow/greenish sticker attached on the back or on the obi. The sticker has an unique serial code.
- A printing on the CD's transparent center with the text "SAMPLE LOANED"
